A lot of what “makes” a photo these days is also the processing.  Back in the day it was done in the darkroom (where I spent many, many hours of my childhood), and nowadays it’s done in Lightroom, Photoshop, or whatever tool the photographer prefers.  Photos rarely ever come out of the camera the way you see them in magazines or even online.  To demonstrate this, I’m going to post some before & after shots of my own.  Before is straight out of the camera, after is from when I was done with the processing.
